An Office All My Own

I’ve had several design jobs lately, which has called for me to find a place to work.  We have a great, big office; but it’s my husbands and he studies in there.  So, where does that leave me?  I’ve spread out all my stuff all over his desk, but I long for a space of mine…one day.  My ideal space would be an office with a lot of windows, a view (preferably overlooking the Puget Sound), a large island or desk to spread out all my design options, and bookcases to store all the design catalogs, fabrics, etc.  Here are some great office spaces that I would love right now…

This is a great nook for catching up on emails!  Love the carpet tiles and white cabinets!

I love this natural, organic look…good place to relax and work.

This is such a yummy looking space!!!  Floor, chairs, cabinetry, table…gorgeous!

The natural light makes this space.  What a calm space to retreat!

Love everything about this space…art, chairs, bulletin boards, french doors!

This office is just gorgeous…I would love to create and design here!

For a little work at my beach house…ha!

Great storage and a great room for collaboration.  And I love the artwork!!!  The white makes for a great blank canvas for all the designs!

Or maybe if I just had a closet that was free to work there…these are organized great!

      Kelly,
You can have a cabinet guy, or a place like Home Depot/Lowes/IKEA design an office for you with the space you have. Depending on the size of your space, you probably could get kitchen cabinets that would fit and then you could have them painted/stained. Good luck! I know how exciting it is to get started on a renovating a house!!! And feel free to email me if you need anymore help!
